With offices in London and Somerset, Lux Films are a team of former BBC creatives who joined forces to form an independent video production company specialising in corporate communications.
Our team combines decades of filmmaking experience and our corporate portfolio has taken us around the world, producing documentaries, interviews and highlights videos for high-end corporate events and parties.
Our global footprint gives us the advantage of having filmed across a multitude of settings and locations. We are acutely aware of the logistical and bureaucratic challenges of working in different geographies and how to overcome these.
Our skills speak for themselves, but what sets us apart is our ability to listen.
However beautiful and captivating our work, we know that a film is only successful if it achieves the business objective behind it.
We work alongside you to understand your organisation and its audience, drawing on your input to develop the initial brief and to produce a successful video or campaign.
MEET THE TEAM
Gareth has a passion for filming and it’s creative process and is always looking to push the boundaries.
After reading Anthropology at university and studying City and Guilds photography he started in film and worked his way up through camera trainee, clapper loader and focus puller on productions lit by DOP’s such as John Mathieson (Gladiator), Henry Braham (Tarzan 2016), Oliver Curtis (Bait) and Rob Kitzman (League of Gentleman).
He developed a love for lighting and shot composition. Further training at the BBC into documentary style film making and storytelling taught him the ability to work quickly, and considerately without compromising the final product.
He recently shot and lit a documentary for BBC4, operates on Later…with Jools, The BBC’s Reading Festival coverage and operated on the Commonwealth Games and the London 2012 Olympics. He currently specialises in the operation of the gimble stabilisation rigs.
With approaching 20 years of experience he’s always looking at new innovative ways to film, create content and enhance the experience of the viewer.
Mark started his career working in theatre on such diverse productions as Shakespeare’s Hamlet to the cult musical The Rocky Horror Show. A change of direction in the late 90’s took Marc to the BBC as a camera assistant on classic programmes such as Top of the Pops, The Lottery Shows , News and Election specials.
As a freelance camera assistant Mark has worked for ITV on CD UK and Ant & Dec, moving over to CH4 to The Big Breakfast.
As a freelance director his work has taken him all over the world from Australia to Canada, South Africa to Bognor Regis!

With over a decade of experience working in the industry as a freelance editor Andrew is expert at creatively interpreting a brief to compose noteworthy engaging films.
Applying industry standard to corporate video has become Andrew’s specialty. Working with clients such as: Sky Sports, Conservative Party, Kurt Geiger, Coca Cola, Proctor & Gamble, Dwell, Starbucks, Strada, Herbalife, and JP Morgan.
Accustomed to working creatively under pressure and to a deadline Andrew is the accomplished editor to exceed expectations.
